I owned a genuine 1984 1340 FXWG that´s how I know this´ not the real thing! It has an Evo engine to begin with...

The real thing was the last model that had a shovelhead engine. Was the last model that had both electric and kick start. Were the last with 4 speed gearbox. Was the first FXWG with belt drive. This has rear disc brake fitted, not the original rear drum brake. Mine came with 1/2 ape hanger handlebars when I got it, I changed them for 6 inch risers and drag bars. This one doesn´t have the original tank label either. Mine was the genuine colour, candy apple red and had black powder coated rocker arm covers from new. I put a cam, s and s carb, oil cooler and a centreline solid mag wheel on it too. | |
