The Buell Blast, equiped with the 500cc single cylinder engine is quite capable as well as obidient. Even though it can do 70mph+ uphill, upwind with a 150lb rider, it doesn´t have the torque to throw you off unles you really try. This bike is very easy to handle at a modest 360lbs. This bike is also well balanced and corners agressively. It also features large rotors for more than adequate stopping power, and like all other Buells, its also fuel injected. No carbueretors, choke levers or cold starts to worry about. Overall the Blast is fairly good bang for the buck. Although it lacks a little punch in acceleration it is still quick enough to get you away from the soccer mom driving her Suburban while sending a text message on her cell phone. For around Dollars 3,000 it doesn´t get much better than this. | |
