just picked up 1250 and was a bit sad to leave my old xjr 1300 behind. done 200 ms so far! i got a puncture first 20 miles¿ massive screw in back wheel jeeeeeez. pleased with the suzuki 1st one owned , old bandit mortal enemy with the xjr1300 my comment running in @ 4500 revs: | ||||||

first.. all the reviews ive read is allll... about the extra power.. and such...well...all i can say is it handles better than the xjr no doubt..as for the power..id like to hear from another suzuki 1250 owner whos run in there bike to tell me what happens when you go above 4500 revs¿¿ the reason for this is at the moment my old xjr 1300 would leave the suzuki standing at that level one flick of the wrist and the yamaha was flying my suzi seems very gentle at this level and i must say maybe unfairly until ive run it properly it seems lack lustre in direct comparison.i love the look of my bike not so keen on the huge exhaust pipe still time will tell i just hope i havent made a mistake things point to a great bike but have been spoilt with the brill xjr1300 or should i simply have bought a newer one¿ i do like the suzuki but the jurys still out¿¿¿anyone in the same boat of uncertainty¿ the guy in the bike shop said maybe i should have bought the suzuki 1800 intruder lol... |
