Sold my little red motorcycle for some cash and saw a brandy wine colored Yamaha and was taken by its looks so I started my search for my own when I came across this.

It started when I bought a 1975 Yamaha rd-125,I bought it from a guy that collects them. For Dollars 450 it was a fair price, as my father and I went to pick it up in our old Chevy we noticed, when we got there, that it had no intake system, no kickstarter, no back brakes, no points cover, no headligt, a bald back tire, a bent main stand, and messed up foot pegs. After we talked to the guy we bought it from, we settled on an agreement we pay Dollars 400 and he gives us
five quarts of oil. It didn´t look that bad sitting in the drive way, as soon as I could I got on the project. Took off the main stand got it fixed and the foot pegs, got a new headlight, and fixed everything to get it ready to ride. It still has no intake, no back brakes, and a bald tire. I got two hose clamps some wire mesh and some breath easy cloth and put it over the carburetor so now it can hit over
60 mph because before without my homemade intake system it wouldnt get over 30 mph. It still needs work but it rides okay when it decides to, we have had our up´s and down´s but it turns out that it´s an okay bike
for an okay ride.
