I remember the joy of customising my bicycle when I was a kid. Ural Wolf invites me to do the same at at an age of 48.

Customising has always inspired me, and when I saw the Ural Wolf on Bikez I started a small web investigation. Some google searching later it was clear this bike was for me. Designed by the Night Wolves motorcycle club of Russia and built by the Ural factory in Irbit. A mix of military grade technology that works and can be serviced in the middle of nowhere, and high performing italian, japanese and USA components such as Brembo brakes, Paioli fork, Kehin carbs, Denso alternator and US valves and pistons.

The Wolf is a boilerplate for anyone inspired by the way a biker can customise his bike to reflect his personality, without beeing a millionaire. What other bike brand will invite its owner to use his electric drill to attach some gadget or make some change to the original design when the bike is 2 days old, BMW? HD?

Driving it for the first time was a chocking experience beeing used to driving new Harleys and Triumphs, but after a while when the engine has been run-in and I have learned to treat the gear lever in a decent manner I will not switch back.

I have much more to say about this bike but the hour is late. Try it yourself!
