Perfection on two wheels | ||||||
I´m an amputee. I have to install electric shifters on my bikes. I bought this bike in L.A. and drove it 300 miles home in third gear. It will hum along quite happily at 80 miles an hour in third. Now that I have my Pingel electric shifter installed, I commute to work on my GSXR. Pulling up behind someone going 65, a twist of the throttle will have you doing 85 by the time you get even with them. This bike would cruise at 120 mph all day. Nothing on four wheels will ever get past me. I had misgivings about the riding position, but I got used to it in no time. My other bike is a KZ 1000. I keep leaning the Suzuki over and waiting for something to scrap, but that just ain´t gonna happen. I LOVE this bike. I have no complaints whatsoever. I wanted in one in 1986 when they first came out. Now I´ve got one, and I won´t be selling it for a long time. |
