...is what you get.

I recently purchased a 2006 Diamo Cruiser from a local dealership. I got a pretty good deal, considering the 2007 were on their way in. I spent Dollars 2100.00 and drove it home. So far, I have about 900 miles on it, and I am pleased.
The positives
+This bike gets about 90 mpg on combined city/highway (I have gotten upwards of 94 mpg-wow.)

+Easy to ride. Lightweight and low center of gravity. Handles fantastic on country roads- tons of fun in a little package

+for a small engine, plenty of power. Hypothetically speaking, somebody my size and weight could get it up to 80 mph

The Negatives

-I´m 5´10´, and this bike is small. Footpegs are really close and the brake pedal and gearshift is a little difficult to use.

-Passengers,ha! It ain´t the power, there just isn´t room. Its like sitting in the backseat of a corvette.

-plastic. Lots of plastic. I know it saves weight and I got it cheap, but lots of plastic. disappointing.

Overall-

Great starter bike, especially on rural roads and in town. Approachable for the beginner and fun. Easy on gas and insurance. But, it is no Harley, or even the Yamaha Virago it copies. All in all, if you are looking for a brand new bike for a low low price, this is a good one.
