Do people stop you to ask ´What kind of bike is that?´ Well, on the Custom, it´s nearly guaranteed.

The HD Road King Custom is such a striking piece of machinery, that I´ve been stopped by strangers who were dying to know what kind of bike it is. There´s plenty to like (or love) about the scoot. It´s loaded with chrome, but there´s always something more to add a shine to. Even the headlight has a big lump of chrome topping it off. Even though I´m 6´3´, it´s a decent fit. I love the beach bars, but they took a bit of getting used to. I love the clean look, no cluttered fenders or saddle bags. The chromed disc wheels are sweet. The pipes follow the sweep of the bags right on down. The engine is powerful enough to move the behemoth around decently. The bullet turn signals are trick and their reflection in the headlight nacelle looks sharp. The seat is uncomfortable and easily replaced. After 1600 miles, the front brakes still squeal. | |
