Review of the 1983 Honda VT 500 C:Great Little Bike |

This is a great basic bike, no frills and little thrills but ..... as long as you know that going into it, it is plain simple fun. | ||
It is NOT a Harley Davidson, nor will you be mistaken for one. It is only 500cc, but at 23 years old it still will do 80-85 mph with a 225 pound guy on it and no maintenance thus far. I actually passed my buddy on his HD Street Rod. ( Downhill, with the wind behind me and he was sleeping I think!!! ) It was a Dollars 250 motorcycle that ran and was inspected ..... I bought a new battery for it and have ridden it since. How could I complain ¿ I am planning on getting it looked at this spring. It ticks, it needs the timing set and the air and gas filters changed but otherwise it is a fun little turn the key and go motorcycle. |
