The Hayabusa is limited to 186 mph by an eletronic governor. Just because it has a 220 mph speedo doesnīt mean that it does that stock. Suzuki and Kawasaki made a pact back in 2000 limiting top speed to 186 so they could focus more on ergonomics. Yes it can go a little over 200 without the governor. Also, speedos on Japanese bikes are notorious to read about 8% higher than actual speed.So at 186 it would read about 200.
