i have the same problem.. i have a faint spark at the points and i traced it to the coil.. i was looking at a coil pack from a ford ranger.. a coil pack has very high output.. it has 2 spark plug wires on each coil, just like the twinstar.. i don`t know if a 12volt coil pack will work on a 6volt twinstar.. .. maybe someone on here can answer that question
