I was directed to consider BMW in my quest for a bike (most use in town, but want a bike road worthy). I have always respected the product and felt it was a bit too expensive for my budget. In my price range (1500-2500) I find bikes 20-30 yrs. old. initially, I had no problem with that: however, as I browse the bmw-trader, I read all these adds with list a mile long as to recent maintenance and it concerns me. I fully believe in maintenance but it seams Honda boast much much less than what I am viewing with bmw. I need a reality Check here. Thanks russ
