Ron, The original size tires are the only sizes that will fit.Your new front tire will look smaller and you will tend to oversteer the bike. You will get used to it. The rear tire cannot be different either. There is no room for a larger tire. It will rub against the driveshaft housing. I prefer Metzler V-rated tires for best performance and lasting. If you hammer your bike most of the time you will only get about 4,000 miles on rear tire and up to 6,000 for the front. Be smart and safe, buy good V-rated tires. Your playing with too much power for cheap tires. Have fun, J
