Hello.... My name is GRANT. I live in Canada and I have a 1997 CBR 900. I was taking my swing arm off to get it polished when I ran into a problem. I took off the main nut that holds the swing arm in place then took out that shaft. I thought that the swing arm would just come off after that. But to my surprise there is an Allen key type head that has to come out as well. I just wanted to know if you knew how big this Allen key head would be OR if you knew the name of the tool I would use to finish the job?? If you go to this site there is a pdf file which you could see what I´m talking about more clearly. It’s on this site from RRzone.com
http://www.rrzone.com/929rr/thruyears.htm (-- cut and paste this into your browser, go to 1997 and click onto the pdf file and go to PAGE 105. If you can help me out I´d appreciate it. The part I took out was #7 and the part that is giving me trouble is #26 I think. When you look at the left end of part 7 (the shaft) the head of the tool or Allen key must be the size of this end piece.
