RE: Backrest and saddlebags for CX 650E
paulito said 2008-08-27 23:22
I just purchased a replacement seat cover on ebay actually meant for the sister bike that was sold in the USA the 650 turbo. Looking at pictures on ebay the seats seemed to be identical so now all I have to do is to take the seat off and replace the outer covering with the new one. Hopefully this will be a winter project with no real problems. Any tips from someone who has replaced the seat covering let me know, thanks. As far as backrests etc. I do not think that this bike has such nor would it need them unless of course you are riding double and they may play a part there although the overall riding position is a forward one that would make the use of a backrest redundant.
