Sprocket Size
Smudger said 2008-02-20 22:52
Does anyone know what the standard front & rear sprocket sizes are for a CG125M1 (2001 - 2003)? Mine had 15 teeth on the front & 34 on the rear, which matches the picture in the Haynes manual. However, when I ordered a new one from L-M Spares, they sent ones with 15 & 43 which has made it far lower-geared. It seems far too low-geared with a top speed (judging by the engine screaming) of around 55mph - it used to be 70mph, albeit down-hill. I´ve told them that they´ve sent me the wrong parts, but they insist that they´re correct. I can´t find any specs for the bike, so I can´t prove them wrong (or maybe right!). Can anyone help?
