Congratulations on your purchase. One thing you might want to check: the long bolt that secures the front end of the motor to the frame sometimes seizes. Lubricate it to keep it free. You will get used to the heavy clutch and throttle, and the slight hesitation and body rotation when you pile on the gas - in time, the machine will grow on you and you will appreciate the solidness of the frame, reliability and how it eats up the miles quickly without drama on long trips. Newport Beach eh? You lucky devil, to be able to ride year-round!
