USING REAR BRAKE FOR LOW SPEED CONTROL
RICH said 2006-07-14 08:39
I am currently under instruction to prepare me for my advanced bike test and am required to ride a figure of 8 at a brisk walking pace, using the rear brake to control the speed. Unfortunately the CBS brings on the front brake whilst the rear brake is applied which causes the front of the bike to dip/dive in a mild way causing a distinct lack of control. I do not want to de-link the brakes. Is it possible to adjust or modify the system to reduce the effectiveness of the front brake (when the rear is applied) until i have taken my test. Any answers or ideas would be most welcome.
