Needless to say I\īm still in the breaking her in stage, but she is even better than expected. The 2006 GSXR 750 has been an eye opener as to how far motorcyling has come. Six years ago I bought a 2000 GSXR 600 and the difference between these two bikes is light years away. Two years later I got to keep a friends R1 for 6 months, and I\īve come to realize that although the liter bikes get all the hype, the 750 class is such a perfect compromise of power, weight, and rider friendliness, without compromising any thing in terms of looks. I\īm looking to see what my options will be for a better exhaust system but as of yet I\īve only seen the Yoshimura pipe and it\īs ugly. At TwoBrothersRacing.com there is a nice looking exhaust but it\īs only for the 2006 GSXR 600 not the 750, and I\īm waiting to see what if anything Akrapovic will come out with. As far as comfort I\īm much impressed with this years model. I don\īt feel the stress or vibrations in the wrists like I have on earlier Suzukis or other makes for that matter. The riding position is comfortable for a sport bike and I like the fact that it\īs got the lowest seat height of all the sportbikes. The Yamaha R1 and especially the R6 are ridiculously high seating postions and the ZX-10R is just a tad better than the Yamahas. I love the turn signals incorporated into the mirrors, it gives the fairings an uninterrupted look that flows well. Only headache right now is that the bike is so new I can\īt find any after market parts for it yet. Puig does make a windscreen and there are one or two frame sliders out there but that\īs about it. If you get the chance get yourself a 2006 GSXR 750 and enjoy life.
