I own a Kawasaki GPZ 1000RX 86 mdl with a 1052 bore kit and a few other modifications. My previous bike was a Suzuki SV650S 2002 model and in comparision I would take the 1000 any day. At first i found it heavy and bulky but after a few rides up through the mountains I found that it absolutly loves counter steering. The bike is great for throwing around and also good two up with the boss on the back and you find you can cruize 400kms in a day and not fell to sore or the need to see your local cyro. For an old bike I think that it is right on the money. This coming from some one like me who is only 25 years old is saying something. The latest and newest is not always the best.
