Breaking down...
Dylan(23-11) said 2004-11-23 15:07
i bought my marauder 4 years ago and overall, its been great--however--every time it rains or is cold the thing breaks down---i lose throttle and have to come to a complete stop. After a while of turning on and attempted reving, it starts up again and off i go---i think it has something to do with the choke cable(which i do use correctly!!)--matbe it is not reurning to it´s original position when i push it ´cos the engine feels like its flooding when i break down--every mechanic in Co.Cork in R.O.I has tryed to solve the problem but no help--does anyone else experience this--i heard it could be a faulty valve in the carb. that is present in all marauders, but because of our rubbish weather in ireland, only we experience it cos we use the choke more in the mornings here!--anyone any thoughts!?!
