I inherited the 1979 Honda after it had been setting in the weather for 10 years. After removing and cleaning carb it will run at 4000 or more RPM choked after being started with starter fluid. The CDI checked OK with my ohm meter. Any suggestions short of removing the engine and replacing the ignition/AC generator? Could it still be the carburator? Should I junk it? It has 80,000 easy miles.
