CLUTCHES
HARD RIDER said 2004-04-27 07:02
5 weeks ago I had a new clutch installed(teflon coated aftermarket), used a synthetic blend oil... now my clutch is completely fried. I had plenty of oil, I was doing about 165mph... and it just let go. I managed to get to the shoulder and saw a little smoke from the oil filter area. The guy who installed my clutch, stated that I took the bike beyond it´s limits. I think he forgot to adjust it and the use of aftermarket parts. Anyone have any suggestions... I have to get this squared away! Derby is in 4 days... thankyou.
