New to the Bandit, I am. About 3 months. Very pleased, overall. Interesting that this site gives 139 as top speed- I´ve seen 135 on mine once, and that was fast enough for me! Didn´t know I was almost at terminal velocity on it.
Only complaints I have so far: 1) clutch is not up to the torque engine puts out, slips at high speed when I pass without downshifting- engine has the torque for this, clutch should be able to keep up. 2) The Bandit is more "sports," less "touring" than I would like. Reason I am on this site is to find out what Suzuki´s bike that is about same size, but more touring, less sport, is. Anybody know? email me. thanks.
