This is a nice bike. The higher compression (9.2:1) and taller gearing make long distance touring a breeze. Factory owner´s manual states that the maximum and top speed is just over 100 mph, meaning the bike can be safely run wide open all day. One of these same models, with a deep oil pan and small fairing as only modifications, won a Los Angeles to New York City cannonball run in 54 hours, driven by BMW of Ft. Worth.
