05 Piaggio X9 Evolution 125 discussion forum: Front suspension

Hi guys/girls I have just bought a 2005 Piaggio X9 Evolution 125 and am wondering how good is the front suspension I ask as even small bumps in the road feel like I have ridden over a 4inch deep pot hole I know its a small wheel and all but I don\\\´t think its right the bike shop say it all checks out fine but its the first x9 i\\\´ve ridden and have no real reference points. Let me know your thoughts please also is it worth investing in a Polini 9 Roller Super Speed variator I am a big guy and am looking for a bit more get up and go if you know what I mean.
