I´ve been riding the silver R30 for the last 4 months it’s a lot of fun! I warn you there are a few problems you must be aware off! 1: The lower gasket will go! Not sure when but some last 500KMH others 2000 to 3000 KMH you’re never sure, mine went when I bought it! After a week of trying to find out where the oil was coming from I found it! Had to do a complete strip down all!!4000$ form the Suzuki agent, at the same time I polished the exhaust ports and skimmed the cylinder head so the compression is quite a lot more than standard! I leave it out side in all weathers if possible I would recommend keeping it under cover out of the rain. After the rebuild is goes GREAT but where some of the bolts were tightened the bolds have started to rust just miner but it’s a bit upsetting to see stainless steel with rust! Only miner a bit of polish and it hidden! 2: The rev counter is a bit unreliable not always giving the same reading Now the engine is steady as a rock.. Give me a email and leave me you tel number will call you later if you like! Richard |
