How do I remove the rear fender of my 1986 Honda XL250R? I have removed the seat, the license plate bracket and all the nuts and bolts from the rear fender (I think) but I can´t get the fender off. My bike is rusted pretty bad, I´ve had to use a rust remover on most of the bolts and I can´t tell if the two bolts at the back of the frame where the seat ends are rusted to the frame, part of the frame or if the moron who had it before me welded the bolts on. Am I supposed to push down on the fender where it meets the seat area and push it off the bolts? I don´t know the technical jargon as this is my first time ever attempting something like this but I´m determined to do as much of the breakdown and rebuilding on my own as I can. Any advice or information will help.
