| There´s only one TMax
Anyone can build a big engine and plonk it in a scooter chassis. The trick is to do it without compromising the original design principles. In the case of the TMax, those principles have always been to create a machine with the convenience and functionality of a scooter, then give it the kind of engine performance and handling characteristics that would impress even a sports motorcycle rider.
The TMax name is now an icon among maxi scooters, with a commanding personality in the traffic and a commanding reputation for performance in those places where acceleration, braking and cornering ability count.
Sometimes people lack respect for scooters. That’s okay – because in Yamaha’s TMax, you have an excellent teaching aid.
