Review of the 2006 Harley-Davidson FLST Heritage Softail
My Blue Heaven
|
Bike rides like a dream.Im 5´10 165 lbs and it fits me perfect. The stock handlebar setting puts(me)in a very comfortable riding position. Review of the FLST Heritage Softail submitted on 2006-04-04.
This is my third new HD.I started out in 93 with an 883 sporty.it was a great intro bike but I out grew it pretty fast.I sold it and in 2000 picked up a FXST .That was a great bike ,but realy not for two-up touring(thats only my opinion). The Heritage is my kind of bike. The colbalt blue with the HD decal looks fantastic. The bike runs like a dream.I put Vance and Hines staggered exhaust and went with HD´s Diamond plate look on the control, foot rest and pegs.I also cromed the switch housings. That small combo makes this bike look great.I have already put 300 miles on it (only had it for 3 days). One thing I have noticed, I feel like I always want to extend my legs a little longer then the stock floor boards alow. All and all this is a great bike and with a MSRP of 15800.00 (FLSTI),its a great buy too.Through some bags and a wind shield on and you have a Heritage Classic .I Look forward to every new day now.
