KTM 200 EXC - the best bike for me |

Purchased a 2000 200 exc just a month aga and love riding it. We are mainly riding tight single track in the north easter US, and I can say this bike will out perform others in the woods. No need to clutch your way up hill climbs, the bike will grunt up it nicley. My friends are always fighting their way up hills, the 200 will just clinb it. I did have to change the jets and a needle since the bike still had all the factory settings when I brought it home. It was running way to fat and not hitting hard enough....seemed like a four stroke. Once that was done the bike felt like a totally different bike. If you compare the quality of KTM to any one of the main Jap bikes, KTM will be above. Just little things like all the bolts being set and not needing two wrenches to take something off. Hydraulic clutch, renthal bars and an 18" rear rim are nice std features. The suspension in my opinion is a cut above also and makes my buddies CR feel like a brick. See you on the trails and just remember.....keep single track single! |
