I bought a 98 intruder 800 about a month ago. It was a one owner currently has 13.5k miles. Its bone stockexcept I have factory suzuki saddle bags. I love the bike and have since I began looking at them. Compared to 7 other metric cruisers and a harley sportster it performed better than any of the others. The smaller saddle was uncomfortable for heavier riders and some ppl complain about being cramped up with the factory controls. But I myself am 6ft 1in tall and slender at 165, I have no complaints. There are many accessories that can be added (highway bars, forward controls, etc..) but I like mine bone stock. Plenty of power and a great feeling clutch. In my opinion if you could get one with under 20,000 miles and near mint or great condition for under or at you\´re budget, there won\´t be a better deal, you cant go wrong!!
