I have a USA Produced, 1975 RD250 white with Orange decor, that was given to me. Didn´t run. Cleaned the carbs, new Petcock seal, New plugs, new battery, got it to start.. Pumping oil alright and I can ride it. Problem is that there is no power in the low end... Really have to rev and feather the clutch to get it going. Once it hits 4-5k RPM, it winds up pretty good and takes off like a bolt. But I need to get it to take off alright before I decide to get plates on it and make it my daily rider to work and back... I think it´ll do better on gas than my 82 KZ1100. sappleby@jpcycles.com if you come up with anything. |
