I just bought a 1994 Virago 535 three days ago. When I test rode it four days ago and up until yesterday, it was running and starting perfectly. Yesterday, I ran an errand with it and when I came out to start it, it would crank slowly and not fire. After letting the bike cool for thirty minutes I attempted starting it again. This time it cranked normally but still didn\´t fire. After another 10 minutes I tried a final time and the bike fired up and ran normally. Today I went to see if it would fire up and it cranked normally but wouldn\´t fire. It was low miles and I\´m not sure how often it was ridden by the previous owner. My thought is it might be a bad starter coil or bad gas in the system. Your thoughts?
