Hi- I am a long-time motorcycle owner, mechanic, dealer and enthusiast. just turned 74, and have been riding since I was 15. started on a whizzer, and have owned or ridden almost everything available, mostly european or jap.I currently have a 93 v-max and just bought a new 08 concours 1400. love the bike- it has tremendous power, great handling-probably the best I have ever ridden- and is great for travel with the side bags. i wish it had dual exhaust, self canceling signals, a true speed control, and a lower seat height. I have installed bar risers, and with a lower seat would be just about perfect. small nits to pick, I know-but the game keeps changing and the manufacturers need to keep ahead.
