Hi Im Jim Doherty from New Zealand a recently retired heavy equipment mechanic Ive been riding my XV 1000 RH for some 26 yrs,Im in the process of fitting a recond XV1100 engine and shaft drive, its a major,Ive fitted an Xv750 final drive and swing arm with XJ 900 wheels 18inch front and rear with disk brakes,I wouldnt reccommend it to the inexperienced.Looking forward to the end result,Ive lots of second hand parts for all XV750 thru to XV1100 including XV 1000.Ive also dismantled a chaindrive Jap market XV 750,cheers Jim.
