my 84 fj does great in first gear but when you shift to second the problems start.it feels like the chain is jumping teeth,if you lay on the throttle the engine bogs a little, like gears are binding.eithere 3rd or fourth will do this too.i tightened the chain up tight, but i still get this chain slip feeling. i\´m guessing i got a few bad gears.i got new gears for it, but i\´m wondering what is the easyest way to get to them.i\´ve heard that this model bike doest have to have a case split, also heard you could pull half the case.i need some info quick!!HELP!!!i\´m tearing it down in my dining room this weekend.wifes gonna kill me and i got to get this thing going soon.what steps and precations do i take when i get this engine off and start tearing into it?i\´m a good mechanic, but not much motorcycle experience.i\´m proly getn in over my head, but i have to do this and do it right!!!thanks guys!
