does it need a battery to start? and is it a counterweight? |

I´ve had this motorcycle for about 6 years now, i work on it with a retired mechanic, my friends tell me that i don´t need a battery via the kick start, but my mechanic tells me that it is nessesary. The main problem with this bike however is that it is stuck in 4th gear. i took off the case and there is a wheel which i belive to be the counterweight to the crankshaft. this requires a special tool to take off. the tool needed i do not know, can you please answer these questions for me? |
