i am in need of help on my KLR. I have lost the ignition and the schematics are not detailed enough. Iwould like to know what measurements should be found on the lines leading to the DCI. What line does what and should measure ?? volts or resistance to ground. I am not geting 12 volts to the coil. What part does the coil induced voltage from the armature to the CDI play? the one red black line from the CDI which goes to the three diodes. It would appear to me that if any of three signals grounds out, then the red/bl would ground out. Is that the method of killing the ignition in the event of one of the signals? I would like some help please. wsmcycle@ipa.net
