i bought a brand new 600 and i´m not lying it is a good bike to start on and it was my first but in less than a year i put a 750 motor in it and within another year i will probly have a 1000 motor in it the on thing i can advise is get a 2000 to 2003 750 or a 2001 to 2003 600 and the frame will take all 3 engines with very little effort
