My bike distroyed a battery last week, I had noticed the battery losing cranking power (new battery). Bike shut down on me on the Interstate (doing 80 mph). New battery, starts, shuts off immediately and burns the starter fuse. Several times. Ordered and installed a Rectifier (voltage regulator). Same deal. Now my bike burns through the starter fuse when I turn the key on. I have been told that if I cannt find a skint or burnt wire (which I cannt) that I need to replace the Stator (Altenator). wow. $300 (+). Ideas guys?
