Hi my name is Ross. i have been riding Bikes since i were 14 as it is the legal ages in Guernsey.
My first bike was a Honda X8R-X, then a rubbish Aprilia RS50. i have now moved onto a Honda NSR125RR, which is one of the best bike i have ever ridden compared to the others (e.g. Mito´s, RS125 and some others).
My NSR is a 2001 Model, and i am currently on the verge of revitalising it as it was in bad shape, when i first got it, the tyres were worn out, there were leaks where the seals had gone in the gear box area. the seals on my forks had gone too. currently at the moment there is no speedo cable so i don´t know how fast she actually goes.
but i was clocked by a friend and he said we were going around 95mph. That was until a car pulled out. so i still had a little to go.
i really need a speedo cable and drive and if anyone hears of one i would be grateful.
at the moment i have just brought a brand new Arrow exaughst system that cost me £200, AS THE OLD ONE HAD HOLES FROM RUST, I WILL NEXT GET IT JETTED, AND I HAVE ORDERED a 48 teeth sproket rear, 14front and a gold renthal chain, hopefull with all this i might get somewhere.
if anyone is interested in talking about the NSR feel free to e-mail at 5567rossh@gcfe.org
