The resistor only tricks the CDI to rev out in top gear. You wont get anything to read above the 180 as the dash circuit board is only programmed to this readout. We put a GSX-R1000 dash on to prove this point and got 248kph on the new dash so it keeps sending triggers past the 180 point but wont indicate it.
No user type fuel tap Im afraid, just a standard vacuum tap that when the engine is cranked or running the vacuum opens up a fuel passage and lets the fuel flow. Low fuel warning lights have taken place of the reserve tap option.
Distance per tank... well it depends on who I go riding with! Maybe average 300k if my woman wants to ride with me?
Cold kiwi? Pffft... Im afraid my bikes hybernate during the winter.
